Hyde Heath - seeing in the Millennium 

A huge thank you to everyone who helped in the planning, organising and running of our Millennium events and to all who supported them.

Experiencing the throngs of people on the walk, the excitement at the children's party, the ooh's and aah's at the fireworks and the total exuberance at the champagne party showed why we all love living in Hyde heath.

Earlier in December, the Georgian afternoon was also greatly enjoyed and appreciated - again thanks to all concerned.

The Millennium Committee turned over in excess of £5,000 - over half raised through events held during last year - and has a surplus of nearly £500 which will be ploughed back into future village hall functions - or, if you have any other suggestions, please let us know.

The Committee is continuing this year and will be organising two further events - please note the dates and watch for further details:
